In the early days of May, the Japanese Government and people joyfully welcome a very important event in the history of the country, which was the beginning of a new era named Reiwa, the year of 2019 becomes the first year of the Reiwa era, after Emperor Naruhito ascended the throne as the 126th emperor. This is the first time in 200 years since Emperor Koukaku abdicated in 1817, a reigning Emperor abdicated to become the Highness Emperor and transferred the throne to the next generation to open a new era for the country.
To share the joy with the Japanese Government and people on this occasion, on May 8, 2019, the Vietnam Association of Japan Alumni ( VAJA ) sent a delegation to congratulate at The Embassy of Japan.
Leading the delegation was Mr. Phan Trung Nghia – Vice Chairman of the VAJA , Mr. Hoang Van Nhan – Vice Chairman of the VAJA. Mr. Phan Trung Nghia on behalf of the delegation sent congratulations to the representative of the Embassy of Japan and wrote into the autograph book of the Embassy.
The autograph writing line of the VAJA delegation has the following paragraph: “We beleave deeply that the new era of Naruhito Tennou is always prosperity, development and maintanance peace for Japan and the whole world” .
