On June 22, 2019, VAJA sent representatives to attend the preparatory meeting for the ASCOJA25 and ASJA Conference in Luang Phabang, Laos. There were more than 20 attendees including members of 10 Southeast Asian countries, ASJA Representative, Japanese Embassy in Laos and JAOL members of the host countries.
The Conference will be held from 3rd to 7th October 2019 at Don Chan Place Hotel, Vientiane, Laos. The subject of ASCOJA 25 Conference is on Food Safety, each country will send the representative to make a 15 minute -presentation with the content related to the safe food problems. The Keynote speaker will be invited by the JAOL.
The ASJA Summit will talk about sports for everyone. At each time a group of Association’s leaders from 5 countries will be invited to exchange and discuss on the subject. There are also many topics concentrating on the coming Olympic TOKYO 2020. This preparatory meeting received many comments from participating countries. In the afternoon of the same day, the ASJA meeting was held in which scheduled the next meeting to be held from 12 nd -14 th March 2020 in Tokyo, announcements about TYCA journal and the Scholarships for countries. At the last, the Philippines representative announced on their planning to hold a seminar on the fourth industrial revolution in Manila, from 6th-7th February 2020.
In the evening of the same day, JAOL organized a visit to the Temples and took a boat trip on the river and ended well the preparatory meeting, making an appointment to see everyone at ASCOJA 25 in Vientiane, Laos from 3rd -7th October 2019.
