On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Viet Nam (21/9 / 1973-21 / 9/2018), on September 8, The Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association of Hanoi organized the Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Program, located at No. 1 Kim Ma Building, Dong Da district, Hanoi. Attending the program were Mrs. Nguyen Lan Huong, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of Commission for People’s Committee; Representatives of Hanoi Union of Friendship Associations, Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association of Hanoi; Representatives of several schools, educational centers and artisans who are operating with various types of Japanese culture.

At the invitation of the President of Vietnam – Japan Friendship Association Vu Van Vien, The Association of Japan Alumni of Vietnam sent delegates including: Mr. Hoang Van Nhan – Vice Chairman; Mr. Phan Trung Nghia – Vice President cum General Secretary; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuong – Executive Committee Member, Japan Alumini of Vietnam (JAV) to attend the program and to exchange with the representatives of the Union of Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association of the city and artisans.

The Cultural Exchange program introduces Ikebana flower arrangement, ” Painting-Haiku Vietnam “, Japan origami art, and introduces and guides how to make Vietnamese traditional moon cake to the audiences participating in the program. The art exhibitions have attracted the attention of many people, especially the children representing some schools to participate in the program.
