In the series of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations giaoViet Nam – Japan and the 40th anniversary of the ASEAN – Japan, for 3 days (6 – 8/9), 20 th Congress of the former Association students of Southeast Asia in Japan (ASCOJA) took place at the International Convention Center (Hanoi).

The 20th Congress with the theme “ASCOJA towards development cooperation and ASEAN + Japan”. Alumni Association of the Southeast Asian countries in Japan (ASCOJA) 06/11/1977 founded in the Philippines at the initiative of former Prime Minister Takeo Fukuda Japan with 5 members of the Alumni Association of the Philippines country , Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. So far, ASCOJA has 10 members.
Club Alumni of Vietnam in Japan (JAV) under the Vietnam Friendship Association – Japan was established on 05.10.2001. For over 10 years since its founding, with the assistance of the relevant authorities, especially the Japanese Embassy in Hanoi and the Vietnam Friendship Association – Japan, CLBJAV has gradually grown and development, in charge of organizing and participating in many activities contribute to strengthening the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.
